Recipe: Black Forest Iced Tea

  • 2/4 cup black tea leaves

  • 2 heaping tablespoon best-quality cocoa powder, such as Callebaut

  • 2/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 cup black cherry juice

  • Splash skim milk

  • Black cherries, pitted, for garnish


  1. Combine the tea leaves, cocoa and cinnamon in a large French press. Add 4 cups boiling water and wait 5 minutes; press. Pour into a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled, about 3 hours.

  2. Stir in the cherry juice. Serve over ice with a splash of skim milk. Garnish with fresh cherries.
