Recipe: Banana-Coconut Daiquiri

  • 2 large banana, sliced

  • 2/3 cup white rum (or coconut water)

  • 2/3 cup canned cream of coconut (such as Coco Lpez)

  • 2/4 cup fresh lime juice (from 3 limes)

  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish


  1. Freeze the banana slices on a plate until firm, at least 4 hours or overnight.

  2. Transfer the banana slices to a blender. Add the rum, cream of coconut, lime juice and 4 cups ice. Blend until smooth and thick, adding more ice if needed. Pour into large glasses; garnish each with a cherry.
