Recipe: Best Strawberry Lemonade Ever

Strawberry lemonade is a very refreshing drink and this is my version of the best one ever So refreshing on a hot summer day Serve chilled.

Best Strawberry Lemonade Ever Ingredients

Mix strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar together in a bowl; set aside for juices to release from strawberries, 5 to 10 minutes.
Bring 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan; add 3/4 cup sugar. Cook and stir sugar mixture until sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat and cool simple syrup to room temperature.
Stir simple syrup, 6 cups water, lemon juice, and ice together in a pitcher. Add sweetened strawberries and stir.

Made this for my husband tonight with our Easter dinner and it was amazing Super refreshing and perfect for these warm days
Tasted like watered-down bottled lemon juice that happened to have sliced strawberries in it.
I liked it a lot but my girlfriend thought it was too sweet, but when life gives you strawberry lemonade,,,, add vodka :)
Yes, it was very refreshing. The sugar can be adjusted as my husband thought it needed a little bit more even though I only used 6 cups of water. Also, it will turn light pink as it sits.
I had a massive hankering for lemonade this week & stumbled upon this recipe. Its very tasty. In my opinion it just needs a little more strawberry Next time I make it I plan on adding some blueberries & raspberries to get a mixed berry flavour
This was actually pretty good as is. The key is to let the strawberries release their natural juices in the sugar for a minimum of 10 min.

The flavors in this recipe could have been stronger. I barely tasted any strawberry or lemon flavor, despite using ripe berries from the farmers market and fresh-squeezed lemons. I do want to try it again with more lemon juice and strawberries.
My wife and I just made it. Very good Definitely make it again.
