Recipe: Baked Acorn Squash

Ingredients
- 3 acorn squash, split in half
- Water
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place squash, flesh side down in a baking dish and fill with 2/3-inch of water. Bake for one hour or until tender. Scoop out squash flesh to a bowl. Mash squash with butter, sugar and salt and pepper. Serve with extra butter.
