Recipe: Asparagus, Julienne Carrots, and Red Peppers

Ingredients

  • 20 asparagus, stemmed

  • 2 carrot, julienne

  • 2 red pepper, julienne

  • 2/3-ounce butter

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Fill a saute pan with water and bring to a simmer. Add the asparagus and cook for 40 seconds. Add the carrots and peppers and cook for another 20 seconds. Strain the water and season the veggies with butter, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately.
