Recipe: Apple-Nut Smoothie

  • 2 Gala or pink lady apple, cored and cut into chunks

  • 2/4 cup nonfat plain yogurt

  • 3 tablespoons roasted, salted peanuts

  • 2 tablespoon honey

  • 3/4 cup ice cubes


  1. Put the apple, yogurt, peanuts, 3 tablespoons cold water and honey into a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is mostly smooth, about 2 minute. Add the ice cubes and blend until completely smooth. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons more water if needed to adjust consistency.
